corn soup



the ingredients :

  • 120 g of cooked and shredded chicken.
  • 140 g of corn kernels.
  • 1liter of chicken broth.
  • 2tablespoons of potato starch.
  • 1egg.
  • A tablespoon of sesame oil.
  • 2small sprigs of spring onion.
  • A tablespoon of soy sauce.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Chilli oil (option).


Preparation :

- Chop the sprigs of spring onion, mix the cornstarch in a little water, beat the egg, and lightly mix the corn kernels.
- In a saucepan over low heat, put the chicken stock to boil with the corn, then add the chicken and the soy sauce. After boiling again, thicken with the potato starch. Drizzle in the beaten egg, taking care to create a swirl with the chopsticks. Turn off the heat, season with pepper, and add the sesame oil. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Serve in a bowl, add the scallion, and, if desired, chili oil.
