Ingredients :

  • 4 eggs.
  • 100 grams of sugar.
  • salt.
  • 60 grams vegetable oil.
  • 60 grams of milk.
  • vanilla extract.
  • 90 grams flour.
  • baking powder.
  • vinegar.
  • 190 grams unsalted butter.
  • 150 grams powdered sugar.
  • 70 grams whipping cream.
  • Almond slices.

Preparation :

-Put 4 egg yolks in a glass bowl, stir them, then add 40 g of sugar and a pinch of salt, stir them well until the sugar dissolves, then add 60 g of vegetable oil, mix, then add 60 g of milk and a teaspoon of vanilla extract, mix, then add 90 g of sifted flour With half a teaspoon of baking powder, stir well and set aside.
-Beat 4 egg whites on medium speed until foamy, then add half a teaspoon of vinegar, and re-mix to mix the vinegar with the egg whites, then beat and add 60 grams of sugar in 3 batches to make a little cohesive meringue.
-After you are done making the meringue, mix it with the first mixture (made of egg yolk), stirring them together well with a spoon.
-Take a tray (10 x 10 inches), put baking paper in it, and pour the mixture into the tray.
-Bake it at 160°C for 25-30 minutes.

Preparing the cream glaze :

-Put 190 grams of unsalted butter in a bowl, beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, add 150 grams of sifted powdered sugar and a pinch of salt, mix well, pour in 70 grams of whipping cream, whisk again (on high speed).

Prepare the cake :

-Take the cake out of the oven, cut the edges, and divide it in half.
-Put the cream on top of the first half, then put the second half on top of them, put the cream on top, and decorate it with almond flakes.
