Cheese and garlic bread


Ingredients :

  • 1 egg.
  • sugar.
  • Yeast Faure.
  • 200 gr bread flour.
  • salt.
  • 80ml milk.
  • 43 grams unsalted butter.
  • mayonnaise.
  • green onion.
  • minced garlic.
  • mozzarella cheese.

Preparation :

Dough preparation :

-Mix 1 egg well, with a spoon, remove a tablespoon with egg, and put it in a bowl (for another time).
-Put in a mixing bowl 20 g of sugar, add the remaining eggs and 4 g of instant yeast, mix them together well, after mixing add 200 g of bread flour, 3 g of salt, and 80 ml of warm milk, mix well until it turns into a dough, knead with your hands a little, the dough will become sticky.
-Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a table, add 30g of unsalted butter, then knead it by slapping it on the table until the dough is firm and smooth, fold the dough to make it round, put the dough on an oven tray, and leave it at 30°C (86°F) for 1 hour.




Prepare garlic sauce :

-In a glass bowl, put 13g of unsalted butter (at room temperature), add 1 tablespoon of eggs, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, 0.5 tablespoons of chopped green onion, and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and stir them together.


-Take the dough out of the oven, press it with your hands from the top to remove the gas from it.
-Bring a knife, and make lines in the dough length and width (the lines are a few sunken).
-Put garlic sauce on top of the dough and inside the gaps, and add a little mozzarella cheese to it (as a filling between the gaps).
-Bake at 170°C for 15 minutes.
