ingredients :

  • 112 grams of softened butter [half a cup].
  • 112 grams of unrefined sugar [half a cup].
  • 2 eggs.
  • 112 grams + 3 tablespoons of farina.
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 2 tablespoons of red jam.
  • One bowl of desiccated coconut.
  • Cherry kernels.

Preparation  :

-In a medium bowl, place the butter and sugar, then mix well until the mixture becomes creamy and white.
-Then add a grain of eggs and mix a little, then add the second grain with good mixing.
-Add the flour and one tablespoon of baking soda and stir well until the mixture is homogeneous.
-Take individual small pans, grease them with butter and flour, and fill the molds half full with the mixture ،Apply to a smooth surface with a wet spoon.
-Put it in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, and when you take it out of the oven, turn the molds over and let it cool.
-Heat two tablespoons of red jam for two minutes, then cover all the madeleines with jam, then cover with coconut and garnish with a cherry.
